New Fish Snacker Offers Modern Take on ‘Loaves and Fishes’ for Today’s Lenten Observers

PRNewswire . February 22, 2007

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Feb. 21 /PRNewswire/ — The world’s most popular chicken restaurant chain is offering fish for the first time nationally with the introduction of the new KFC® Fish Snacker. The company has asked the Pope himself for his blessing, with KFC President Gregg Dedrick sending a personal letter to the Vatican.

KFC’s new Fish Snacker Sandwich, a tender, flaky filet of 100 percent Alaskan Pollack topped with tangy tartar sauce and served on a warm sesame bun, extends KFC’s popular Snacker line-up and is ideal for American Catholics who want to observe Lenten season traditions while still leading their busy, modern lifestyles. The company has turned to Pope Benedict XVI, beseeching him to bestow his Papal blessing for this innovative new menu item. Vatican officials confirmed they received KFC’s request, and the company is hopeful to get the Pope’s blessing this Lenten season.

“People can enjoy the flavor of the new Fish Snacker any day of the week, but we believe it will be especially popular on Fridays,” said James O’Reilly, Chief Marketing Officer for KFC. “It’s perfect for an on-the-go lunch or any time of the day when you need a quick snack but don’t want to sacrifice taste.”

KFC has more than 5,500 locations across the country, which means Americans won’t have to travel to Vatican City to find the New Fish Snacker. The KFC Fish Snacker costs 99 cents plus tax at participating restaurants — a price that is significantly less than most restaurant-made sandwiches.

Catholic University of Detroit Proposing Abortion Agencies as Career Opportunities for Students

Student Confirmed to Have Taken Planned Parenthood ‘Clinician’ Job

John-Henry Westen

Life Sites News . February 22, 2007

DETROIT, Michigan, February 21, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The University of Detroit Mercy claims it is a Catholic institution.  Their web page says, “The University of Detroit Mercy (UDM), a Catholic university in the Jesuit and Mercy traditions . . . seeks to integrate the intellectual, spiritual, ethical and social development of our students.” (http://www.udmercy.edu/mission/index.htm )

Nevertheless, the same “Catholic” University is encouraging its student’s to work with abortion agencies such as Planned Parenthood.  Their career suggestions have not gone unnoticed and a local Planned Parenthood branch is boasting of having hired a UDM student.

The “Career Education Center” UDM website lists Planned Parenthood as a career opportunity for students.  Pointing to the website for Planned Parenthood, the UDM career website suggests that Planned Parenthood “Lists dozens of clinical and non-clinical positions at Planned Parenthood clinics and similar organizations.” (see: http://www.udmercy.edu/cecc/diverse.htm )

Planned Parenthood is the leading abortion provider in the United States.  In 2005, the organization ended the lives of more than 255,015 children by surgical abortion alone. That number does not include the vast number of deaths caused by Planned Parenthood’s sale of chemical abortion drugs, the morning after pill and abortifacient contraceptives.

The local Planned Parenthood branch boasted in their Winter 2005 newsletter that it had just hired a UDM graduate.  Planned Parenthood of East Central Michigan welcomed its new staff member Carol Sodman-Elliott who according to the newsletter works as a “clinician”.  “She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Detroit-Mercy,” says the publication ‘Choice News’.  The newsletter adds: “Carol considers herself ‘terribly pro-choice’”.

The UDM President - a Jesuit priest - Rev. Gerard L. Stockhausen, does not seem overly concerned by the Catholic University’s ties to the largest abortion provider in the US.  Nearly a year ago LifeSiteNews.com and Catholic World News reported that a Catholic society dedicated to ensuring fidelity at Catholic colleges pointed out that UDM was linking to Planned Parenthood on the UDM website.  (http://www.lifesite.net/ldn/2006/mar/060317a.html )

Now, in addition to links to Planned Parenthood, the Catholic university’s website links to the National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL).

The UDM Women’s Studies web page lists under “Professional Associations” Planned Parenthood, which UDM describes as the “Best known pro-choice organization in the U.S.”.  The web page also links to the pro-abortion group National Organization for Women (NOW) which recently failed in its decade long attempt to have pro-life activism outlawed under racketeering laws. (see http://research.udmercy.edu/academic/resources.php?navID=2&a… )

In addition, the Women’s Studies page on ‘Reproductive Rights and Sexuality’ links to “NARAL Pro-Choice America”. (http://research.udmercy.edu/academic/resources.php?disciplin… )

LifeSiteNews.com reported last week that two UDM professors have boldly placed stickers on their offices doors indicating their support for abortion. (http://www.lifesite.net/ldn/2007/feb/07021501.html)

Brown joins the Pedophile Pope to launch £750m child vaccination plan

Sunday, February 11th, 2007

Andy McSmith

London Independent . February 10, 2007

Gordon Brown and the Pope are trying to save millions of children in the poorest countries by speeding distribution of life-saving vaccines.

A group of world leaders, including the Chancellor and Pope Benedict XVI, launched the £750m scheme in Rome yesterday.

The audience with the Pope could also bring domestic political benefits for Mr Brown, so soon after the conflict between the Government and the Catholic Church over whether gay couples should have in adoption law similar rights to heterosexuals. The row threatened to erode Labour’s traditionally strong base among working-class Catholics, with vital local elections looming in Scotland in May.

Also at the ceremony in Rome were Queen Rania Al-Abdullah of Jordan and Paul Wolfowitz of the World Bank launching the “Advance Market Mechanism”. Italy, the UK, Canada, Norway, Russia and the Gates Foundation are to create a £750m fund that will give the poorest countries purchasing power in the drugs market, spurring pharmaceutical companies to develop the needed drugs. Mr Brown told The Independent: “It will give them the power to buy at discounted prices a suitable vaccine when one becomes available. At a stroke, it turns a vague hope for a medical breakthrough into an immediate reality. It will now make economic sense for pharmaceutical companies to develop the new vaccine.”

He added: “Of course, drugs and vaccines are only part of the answer of addressing the arithmetic of disease and death. Weak health systems and insufficient doctors and nurses are among the main obstacles to access to basic health care. Nothing less than a bold commitment to action is now needed.”

The first disease to be targeted will be pneumococcal infection, the main cause of deaths from pneumonia among children, and the second leading cause of childhood meningitis deaths. It kills more than 1.6 million people, including nearly a million children under five, every year.

Worldwide, nearly 10 million children under five die every year, or about one every three seconds. A quarter of these deaths are caused by diseases such as measles, polio, diphtheria and hepatitis, for which there are vaccines available. There are no effective vaccines yet for malaria, pneumonia, tuberculosis and Aids, which kill seven million under-fives a year.

The fund founders hope that by stimulating the market in life-saving drugs, five million lives will be saved by 2030.

Private-sector pharmaceutical research is heavily tilted towards tackling health problems found in the richer countries, where companies are guaranteed a lucrative market for any effective treatment. Every year, more than £50bn is spent globally on health research, but only 10 per cent goes on the diseases that cause 90 per cent of all health problems.

While Mr Brown was in Rome he also had talks with the Italian Prime Minister, Romano Prodi.

Archbishop praises married couples’ ‘heroism’

# Full text of Archbishop of Canterbury’s speech on marriage
# Joshua Rozenberg: The perils of splitting up

The Archbishop of Canterbury launched a stinging attack yesterday on those who fail to appreciate the benefits of marriage, and described married couples as heroes who give stability to society.

Dr Rowan Williams said the “commentating classes of north London” - whose own marriages often failed - were unable to see the wider cost to society of marriage breakdowns.

Although he did not refer directly to Tony Blair or his Cabinet, his comments will be seen as a coded swipe at New Labour. Many influential figures in New Labour lived close to Mr Blair in Islington, north London, in the early 1990s before he became Prime Minister. They argued that marriage should have the same moral status as cohabiting.

Although Mr Blair has said he supports the institution of marriage, ministers such as Margaret Hodge and Tessa Jowell, who have been divorced and remarried, have argued that favouring marriage would offend divorced or cohabiting parents.

Alan Johnson, the Education Secretary, said last July that the traditional 1950s family had encouraged prejudice against single parents. The twice-married minister said: “We have to recognise that the modern family is not always a married family. Marriage can provide stability, but it’s not for everyone.

“Our focus should not be on whether people marry or not, it should be on the welfare of the child and the quality of the upbringing.”

Dr Williams said many of those commentating on marriage were “trading off the inherited capital” of previous generations who worked at marriage and stayed together. Their “prosaic heroism” and “moral geography” had provided a stable background for the next generation.

He added that a committed relationship of a husband and a wife indicated to the children that “it is quite possible to live as a human being not afraid that at any moment you are going to be let down, abandoned, left to yourself - someone has actually committed to be there for you”.

The archbishop said: “The fluidity, changeability of relationships and the transience of marriage may look perfectly fine if you belong to the commentating classes of north London but you don’t have to go many miles to see what the cost is for people who cannot take that sort of thing for granted.”

Dr Williams was speaking at the launch at Westminster of National Marriage Week, which runs from tomorrow until Feb 14, promoting the benefits of marriage to couples, children and society.

His attack came two weeks after the Church of England backed the unsuccessful attempt by the Catholic adoption agencies to be exempted from new laws banning discrimination against homosexual couples.

Richard Kane, a Christian who runs the FutureWay Trust, a relationships charity that co-ordinates National Marriage Week, said that for a long time the issue of marriage had been the “fault line between Left and Right”.

As a result, it had been impossible for people to have an intelligent debate about marriage. “But the weight of evidence suggesting that in general couples who are married are wealthier, healthier and more secure has become overwhelming.”

Iain Duncan Smith, the former Conservative leader who attended yesterday’s launch, said the archbishop’s comments were a further sign that marriage was now back on the political agenda.

For too long any politician who spoke up in favour of marriage was dismissed as a fringe character or “not quite right”, he said. But there had been a “shift” in perceptions of marriage as people began to appreciate the high social cost of family breakdown.

A social justice commission headed by Mr Duncan Smith reported last year that Britain was now a world leader in family breakdown, with the highest level of divorce and lone parenting in Europe.

David Cameron, the Conservative leader, promised in an interview with The Daily Telegraph last week that he would lead a “real fight for the family in Britain”.

A spokesman for the National Family and Parenting Institute, an organisation set up by Labour eight years ago to further its family agenda, said: “I can understand a religious leader saying [marriage is important] but we have to respect that what is right for some is not necessarily right for others.”

He added: “If marriage is right, that’s wonderful for those involved. For some people who choose not to get married, we should encourage people to be in relationships they feel comfortable with. Whatever choices they make should be supported.”

Prof Andrew Oswald of Warwick University said: “If you can make it work, marriage is really great for you. It is probably the single best investment in well-being you can make. Both first and second marriages produce, for men and women, huge amounts of happiness.”

However, the Child Poverty Action Group said: “A marriage certificate is not a magic cure-all - it does not end addiction, it does not cure a mental health condition, it does not cancel debt, it does not increase skills and qualifications and it does not provide employment. Addressing these problems will do more to lift children out of poverty.”

In 2004, 270,700 marriages were registered in England and Wales, 109,400 of which were re-marriages for one or both parties, and 153,399 divorces were granted.

Condemns Catholic Church discrimination of refusing to ordain women as priestesses

Hilary White

Life Site News / February 4, 2007

TORONTO, February 1, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A political scientist at the University of Toronto has argued that as Canadian “Charter values” and Christian values drift further apart, churches should either adhere to and promote the state ideology, or lose the financial support they enjoy through their tax-free status.

In her article, “Living Better Multiculturally: Whose values should prevail?” published in the Fall 2006 edition of the Literary Review of Canada, Janice Gross Stein equates “Canadian values” with “Charter values,” in other words, those formulated and championed by the Liberal party of Canada after Pierre Trudeau’s leftist revolution.

Stein is a prominent political scientist and director of the University of Toronto’s Munk Centre for International Affairs, a member of the Order of Canada and a recognized expert in Middle Eastern conflicts.

Deborah Gyapong reported in Canadian Catholic News that Stein proposed traditional religious groups essentially must either abandon any religious beliefs that conflict with the ideologies of the state, notably that of radical feminism, or cease to make any claims to special financial considerations for their charitable, non-profit works for the community.

“If religious institutions are able to raise funds more easily because governments give a tax benefit to those who contribute, are religious practices against women a matter only for religious law, as is currently the case under Canadian law, which protects freedom of religion, or should the values of the Charter and of human rights commissions across Canada have some application when religious institutions are officially recognized and advantaged in fundraising?”

Stein writes of what she calls a “resurgence of orthodoxy in Christianity, Islam and Judaism,” as a threat to the peaceful coexistence of various cultures in Canada’s urban centres. This orthodoxy, she claims, “is sharpening lines of division between ‘them’ and ‘us’.”

“Where we are reluctant to go,” she writes, “is the conflict between the universal human rights that we treasure and different religious and cultural traditions. One obvious fault line – one that we tiptoe around – is the rights of women in different religious and cultural traditions in our midst.”

“These religious institutions that systemically discriminate against women are recognized, at least implicitly, by governments. They enjoy special tax privileges given to them by governments.”

Stein, a Jew who practices her faith at an “egalitarian” congregation in Toronto, gives the example of the Catholic Church’s teaching that only men have vocations to the priesthood. “Does it matter that the Catholic Church, which has special entitlements given to it by the state and benefits from its charitable tax status, refuses to ordain women as priests?”

“How can we in Canada, in the name of religious freedom, continue furtively and silently to sanction discriminatory practices?”

Gwen Landoldt, a lawyer and vice president of REAL Women of Canada responded that Stein’s case falls apart at her assumption that all Canadians adhere to the “Charter values” of the extreme left.

“Religious practices discriminate against women? What women?” Landoldt said. “It’s only radical feminists who feel that Christian practices are against women. That doesn’t represent all Canadian women’s views because we don’t share her common point of ideology.”

“And as for charitable tax status, who does more charitable work in this country than the Catholic Church and the Salvation Army?”

Landolt continued that the Stein article represented a serious escalation in the anti-religious rhetoric prevalent in Canada and promoted as an ideology through Human Rights Tribunal cases.

“We are right at the periphery of perhaps the most serious issue we have faced. All the things that we have had in the past, abortion and same sex marriage, are closing in around the freedom of the Churches. This is a gauntlet that has been thrown down,” Landoldt said.

Landoldt said it speaks directly to the role of religion in public life. “The role of religion is the advancement of religious faith, so that the goodness and graces of belief can be brought to everyone… Religion’s role in the public sphere is to teach people good public behavior.”

Stein’s point is not shared by all in academia either. Gyapong quotes Daniel Cere, head of McGill University’s Institute for the Study of Marriage, Law and Culture, who says Stein’s line of thought is “troubling” for it implications for religious freedom. He says this is the first time a public intellectual has openly advocated forcing religious bodies to conform their inner principles to the ideology of the state.

Constitutional lawyer Peter Lauwers said that Stein’s assumption is that all citizens will eventually conform internally to a uniform state ideology, “a brave new world in the future where we all think the same.”

Although the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms guarantees freedom of religion in its second section, Lauwers says adherence to Stein’s portrait of a future Canada, would essentially abrogate the Charter-guaranteed right of religious bodies freely to believe and act according to their beliefs.

Calls for an awakening of the national moral conscience

Meg Jalsevac

LifeSiteNews.com / January 28, 2007

WASHINGTON, DC, January 26, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Archbishop Raymond Burke, archbishop of St. Louis, MO, addressed the annual March for Life’s Rose Dinner and delivered a message of both encouragement and warning for the pro-life population of the United States.

The Rose Dinner is held every year at the Hyatt Regency in Washington, D.C. in the evening after the March for Life and, according to its website, is an opportunity “to enjoy delicious food, learn about important pro-life issues, and toast to the hope for a successful pro-life year.”

Burke began his address reminding his listeners that another crucial front has arisen in the battle against the culture of death. “Given the legalization of procured abortion in our nation, we should really not be surprised that now the agents of the culture of death seek a constitutional guarantee of the right to generate artificially and destroy embryonic human life. A nation that permits abortion at any stage, including the practice of partially delivering a baby into the world in order to destroy it brutally, has so deadened its conscience that it is no longer horrified at the thought of embryonic stem cell research, which has rightly been called Frankensteinien.”

Referring to his home state of Missouri’s passage of Amendment 2 at the end of last year, Burke described the amendment as a constitutional amendment which “guarantees the right to clone human life and to destroy the embryonic human life created in order to harvest stem cells.” The archbishop attributed the passage of the amendment despite Missouri’s identity as a pro-life state to the citizens succumbing “to the diabolically clever lies propagated by the financially and socially powerful proponents of the proposed Amendment 2.”

Burke went on to describe, as an example, the actions of former Missouri Republican Senator John Danforth, a supposedly “pro-life” senator and ordained Episcopal priest, who appeared in television and newspaper ads and, according to Burke, encouraged people to “abandon the heartless moral concerns of what he calls the ‘Christian right’ and to exercise compassion for those suffering from serious injuries and grave illness by guaranteeing the right to embryonic stem cell research in the state of Missouri.”

Burke likened such a position to the racist ideologies that have plagued our nation in the past saying that it is “a classic example of the powerful denying the right to life to the less powerful – indeed, the voiceless.” He went on to explain that arguments that deny the humanity of an embryo based on its size are simply a racist justification of “our manipulation and destruction of human life.”

Burke said that proponents of the culture of death shy away from discussing the humanity of the embryo or the unborn fetus and went on to explain the scientific basis for recognizing the human embryo as “a distinct genetic being who only needs protection and nurturing to grow and develop.”

Burke cautioned that unless there is a re-awakening of the national conscience, the United States will soon see “the move to permit infanticide up to a certain age because the small child has not yet achieved the sufficient ability to relate with others - even as we witness a growing acceptance of euthanasia in the cases of persons who we no longer consider productive and able to relate in society according to whatever standard we conveniently establish.”

He claims that such an awakening will only come with the individual awakening of American citizens because he believes that, given the truth, the American people will not accept the killing of human life. Burke attributed the current cultural situation to “the programmatic lying which is the condition for the existence of the culture of death.”

The Archbishop encouraged his audience assuring them that there were signs that the culture of life in America was winning out. He used as one example the recent growth of the Silent No More campaign, comprised of “heroic” men and women who have previously had or collaborated in an abortion and who now deeply regret their decision.

He also drew attention to positive signs in Hollywood – namely, the actors and professionals involved in the production of the movie Bella. The archbishop praised Bella saying that it is “an outstanding contribution to the new proclamation of the Gospel of Life.”

Burke emphasized the importance of returning to an understanding and obedience to the natural moral law which he referred to as the “fundamental truth that we seek to communicate.” He stated that only through heeding the natural moral law will our society “keep our eyes fixed on the moral principles upon which the foundation of our nation rests – those expressed eloquently in the Declaration of Independence – namely, that man is endowed by his Creator with certain inalienable rights among which the first place is held by the right to life.”

Finally, Burke exhorted his listeners to always pray saying, ““Only through prayer will we know the truth and have the courage to speak and defend the truth.”

Burke concluded his talk by calling on the intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Unborn, and reciting the prayer that Pope John Paul II used to conclude his encyclical Evangelium Vitae:

“Oh Mary, bright dawn of the new world. Mother of the living, to you, do we entrust the cause of life. Look down, oh Mother, on the vast number of babies not allowed to be born, of the poor whose lives are made difficult, of the men and women who are victims of brutal violence and the elderly and sick who are killed in indifference or out of misguided mercy. Grant that all who believe in your Son may proclaim the Gospel of Life with honesty and love to the people of our time. Obtain for them the grace to accept that gospel as gift ever new, the joy of celebrating it with gratitude throughout their lives and the courage to bear witness to it resolutely in order to build together with all people of good will a civilization of truth and love to the praise and glory of God, the Creator and Father of Life. Amen.”

“It’s the Jesuits Stupid!” David Icke Says in his Latest Newsletter

Sunday, January 28th, 2007

January 24, 2007

[Note: I think this exaggerates the importance of the Jesuits but I can believe they are a factor. It’s always worthwhile to note what David Icke is saying.–Makow]

The fundamental involvement of the Jesuit Order in world-changing events like the two global wars have rarely been told. Often blame is handed to a Jewish cabal, which does exist as a nexus around the Rothschilds and goes under the name of Zionism. This is an important part of the Illuminati, but not the spider. It is subordinate to the Jesuit hierarchy and the Church of Babylon, now known as the Roman Church. The Jesuit leadership has been quite happy to portray the conspiracy as Jewish-led because it hides where the true string-pullers are.

Not only was Adam Weishaupt Jesuit educated and controlled, so was Joseph Stalin and many of the key Nazis. Hermann Rauschning, former Nazi head of the Danzig government, revealed in 1939 that Hitler had said:

‘I learned much from the Order of the Jesuits. Until now there has never been anything more grandiose, on the earth, than the hierarchical organization of the Catholic Church. I transferred much of this organization into my own [Nazi] party. In my Burgs of the Order, we will raise up a youth that will make the world tremble …’

Walter Schellenberg, former chief of German counter-espionage, also quoted Hitler as saying:

‘The S.S. organization has been constituted by Himmler according to the principles of the Jesuit Order. Their regulations and the spiritual exercises prescribed by Ignatius of Loyola were the model Himmler tried to copy exactly.

‘Himmler’s title as supreme chief of the S.S. was to be the equivalent to the Jesuit General and the whole structure and direction was a close imitation of the Catholic Church’s hierarchical order.’

Hitler, Himmler, the Jesuit-trained Goebbels, and most of the major Nazis were Catholics and this is why there was so much cooperation and collaboration between Nazi Germany and the Vatican, as endlessly revealed in the decades since. The Knights of Malta coordinated the escape of the most vicious Nazis and scientists and mind manipulators like Josef Mengele to continue their horrors in the Americas. Many were issued with Knights of Malta passports. Hitler’s one-time ally, Benito Mussolini, was also Vatican [in other words Jesuit]-controlled, as you would expect.

International finance appears to be the fiefdom of Jewish families, but behind them are the Knights of Malta, an arm of the Jesuit Superior General, and I know from my own research over many years that the Knights of Malta are the power behind the global banking system. It is they who control the International Monetary Fund (IMF), for example. An acquaintance of mine called me to say he had been offered a job with the IMF by the Knights of Malta at a meeting in Las Vegas. When he asked how they could possibly make such an offer, he was told that they ran the whole thing and to get the job he would have to join them. He turned them down.

The Rothschilds, a Jewish family we are told, have the title ‘Guardians of the Vatican Treasury’ and they ensure the financial wealth and secrets of the Roman Church stay well hidden. F.Tupper Saussy, author of the book, Rulers of Evil, wrote:

‘Aware that the Rothschilds are an important Jewish family, I looked them up in [the] Encyclopedia Judaica and discovered that they bear the title “Guardians of the Vatican Treasury”… The appointment of Rothschild gave the Black Papacy [i.e., the hierarchy of the Jesuit Order] absolute financial privacy and secrecy. Who would ever search a family of orthodox Jews for the key to the wealth of the Roman Catholic Church?’

And Bill Hughes writes in The Secret Terrorists and The Enemy Unmasked:

‘The Rothschilds were Jesuits who used their Jewish background as a façade to cover their sinister activities. The Jesuits, working through Rothschild and [financier Nicholas] Biddle, sought to gain control of the banking system of the United States.’

There are Jesuit plants throughout politics, finance, commerce, media and military, among them Bill Clinton, who attended the Jesuit Georgetown University, the dictator, Fidel Castro, the mass murderer Robert Mugabe, and the horrific Simon Peres, the former leader of Israel. Knights of Malta have included Ronald Reagan, Gerald Ford, former Secretary of State Alexander Haig, and Prescott Bush Jr., brother of father George Bush.

Bill Clinton as a boy meets President Kennedy - the future of the Jesuit-educated, Jesuit-controlled, Clinton was planned a long time ago. That’s why he was given a Rhodes Scholarship to Oxford University after attending the Jesuit Georgetown.

The global intelligence community is awash with them, too, with the Knights of Malta once again the prime coordinator. During the Second World War while Hitler, Stalin and Mussolini were being controlled by the Jesuit-Vatican network, so were the intelligence agencies of the United States, Germany and the Soviet Union. Their operatives included William Donovan, head of the CIA predecessor, the OSS; General Reinhard Gehlen with German Intelligence who joined the CIA after the war; and Prince Anton Turkul with Soviet Intelligence. Turkul used Jesuits as couriers.

Nazi General and war criminal, Reinhard Gehlen, Hitler’s head of intelligence for the Eastern Front, was given the highest honour of the Knights of Malta, the ‘Grand Cross of Merit’, for services rendered.

Allen Dulles, first civilian head of the CIA, a Knight of Malta involved in the Kennedy assassination who was then appointed to the Warren Commission to ‘investigate’ how the president died

Many heads of the CIA have been Knights of Malta including the first director, Allen Dulles, and George Tenet, director before and during 9/11 and the invasion of Iraq. The infamous James Jesus Angleton, a major CIA operative involved in the Kennedy assassination, was a Knight of Malta, therefore controlled by the Jesuits. He largely grew up in Rome and became the head of both the Israel and Vatican ‘desks’ at the CIA, chief of counterintelligence and its ‘liaison’ with the Warren Commission that covered up the Kennedy murder. FBI chief, J. Edgar Hoover, and Clay Shaw, a CIA agent and the only man to be brought to trial for the assassination, were Knights of Malta. So was Kim Philby, the British Intelligence agent turned Soviet spy, a man close to the Rothschilds and a friend of Angleton.

My recent trip to Rome has provided a lot of new leads and areas of research and the more I uncover and understand the clearer becomes the involvement of the Vatican and its associated secret societies like the Jesuits, Opus Dei, the Knights of Malta and the Knights Templar.

All roads lead to Rome, they say - and they do.

Olmert’s Chinese Puzzle

Tuesday, January 23rd, 2007

Barry Chamish / January 23, 2007

I just read a long, near-idiotic analyses of what awaits Ehud Olmert in China. He will find a nation buying world resources and will want to
get a piece of the largesse for Israel. (The author pulls his hair out).

China does not simply invite Israeli prime ministers for live snake dinners. There had to be one serious proposal in the air. We know Olmert returned from the Vatican with the order to bring down all roadblocks in Judea and Samaria. That would effectively open Israelis to a mass pogrom. Condoleeza Rice came to town on a whirlwind of global destruction. Victim one was Foreign MinisterTzipi Livni. They gave her a few simple lines to say and she muffed them. Nonetheless, Condy insisted she was “inspired” by Livni’s emptyheadedness and learned a lot about “political horizons.”

Victim numero two is Avigdor Leiberman, political hack. Last week YNet released the results of their poll, and what do you know, 80% of Israelis believe ALL of their politicians are corrupt. In short, Israelis have all lost faith in their system. The only thing left to fight for is a few family and friends.

Of the politicians whom 20% felt were not corrupt, Lieberman led the political pack with a full 5% believing he’s honest.

Now, they’d better hope not. After meeting with Rice, we discover that he suggested putting 30,000 NATO troops in Gaza. But wait, isn’t that the Vatican plan? We see Rice and Rome working hand in hand.

So, Olmert escapes to China. Now, we saw him milk a cow. But behind closed doors, on January 11, 2007, China changed the world. And all they did was knock down a satellite in space with another satellite 500 miles away. From here on, Space Wars is not science fiction. Twenty good shots could send the world hurtling back to 1700. China is now a first-rate military power.

Now you may say, “So what if Olmert just happened to be in China on that day?”

But the chief of the KGB is screeching, “Why did Olmert get the show?”

And the head of the CIA must be a little put off, anyway, by Olmert.

But the head of Iran’s secret services got the message. China could get rid of their satellite Sinah-1 and they wouldn’t be able to watch Israel get up every morning.

Something drove Olmert to China and he was well rewarded…but for what? On the surface, China would lose far more customers than Israel is worth.

But Israel is a player and can make offers. And this is what I think may well have happened.

Olmert knows Israel is through in the Western alliance. And somehow he wants to save his land. Even if it means teaming up with China and throwing out the Vatican and CFR.

One thing is certain; Olmert and China produced an earthquake felt by military planners and their political bosses throughout this planet, being primed for war.

end

One serious issue which came back big at this time is murders of the leaders of the Right and their families. I had very intelligent people writing of their suspicions in the deaths of Rabbi Ginsburg’s grandchild or of Sarah Popper. But the winner was Yuri Shtern, member of the Knesset once of Gush Katif, and head of the Christian Coalition. His political actions on behalf of the tortured Gush Katif refugees may have been what killed him. His own doctors could not identify the source of his disease. In Lieberman’s words, “Israel’s diplomatic and security goal… must be clear: joining NATO and entering the European Union.” In his photo-op with Rice, Lieberman expounded on his big idea that NATO and the EU will now take Israel under their wing. Israel, he said, must reoccupy Gaza to end its transformation into a new hub for global jihad. But after Israel invades Gaza, NATO should send 30,000 soldiers into Gaza to take over security from Israel…

It is not simply that this statement is garbled to the point of incoherence. It is not simply that Livni uses phrases and watchwords like “some visions” and “political horizons” and “misunderstanding that was in the understanding” in an attempt to cover up cognitive foolishness and disconnect from reality.

Another major worry for Israeli pilots is Iran’s first satellite. Carried into orbit by a Russian booster in October 2005, the Sinah-1 can provide a capability to spot low-flying aircraft long before they intrude Iranian airspace. The Iranian space programme is a matter of deep concern to us, said an Israeli defence source at the time. When we launch an attack on several Iranian targets, the last thing we need is Iranian early warning received by satellite.

“You guess or think they [settlement council] said they hoped to prevent the disengagement?” Shalev-Gertal asked Bahat. “The Yesha [council] head said it outright. The entire community knew that they wanted to prevent the Disengagement”.

Italian priests join police in fight against satanic crime

Sunday, January 21st, 2007

CNA / January 20,2007

Rome (CNA) — Roman Catholic priests will work with Italian police to tackle a rising tide of crimes linked to satanic worship.

The Vatican has reportedly assigned clerics with experience in the field of devil worship and the occult to assist the Italian anti-sect squad. Church officials have become concerned about the number of churches being desecrated by Satanists. In recent months, there have also been a string of murders that have been linked to devil worship.

One of the Vatican’s leading experts on Satanism and the occult, Fr. Oreste Benzi, told The Sunday Telegraph that young people were particularly attracted to the occult due to their natural curiosity, but that drugs are also used to influence and manipulate them.

“We are not just talking about murders but the psychological grip that these sects have on young people, especially taking them away from traditional social values and exposing them to all sorts of horrors,” the priest told The Sunday Telegraph.

Fr. Benzi estimates that there are at least 8,000 satanic sects across the country with more than 600,000 members.

The nationwide operation will be centrally controlled from Rome by Police Chief Gianni de Gennaro. A special free phone hotline has been set up to report occult activities.

Police say Satanists are particularly active in Piedmont, Veneto and Emilia Romagna in the north, and Tuscany, Umbria, Calabria and Puglie further south.

Polish Church steps up spy probe

Friday, January 12th, 2007

BBC / January 12, 2007

Poland’s Roman Catholic Church is to investigate whether any of its senior members collaborated with the communist-era secret police.

The decision was made at an emergency meeting of the country’s 45 bishops triggered by the dramatic resignation of Warsaw’s archbishop on Sunday.

Bishop Stanislaw Wielgus quit after he confessed to collaborating with the communist police.

A commission is to probe the past of all bishops and “people of the church”.

“The bishops have confirmed the will to carry out a full verification of the truth about ourselves” and all clergy, said Archbishop Jozef Michalik, the head of the bishop’s council.

Correspondents say the revelations of collaboration have severely weakened the Church, to which 90% of Poland’s 40 million people belong.

Bishop Wielgus announced his decision to resign at a service intended to install him as the city’s new archbishop.

The canon of Krakow cathedral, Father Janusz Bielanski, stood down the next day for the same reason.

Bishop Wielgus confessed his past involvement with the secret police after Polish press reports appeared last month suggesting that he had been a longstanding collaborator.

The BBC’s Adam Easton in Warsaw says that in a country where the Catholic Church plays such an important role, this scandal could hardly have been more shocking.

The Church was highly esteemed because of its leading role in the fight against communism in Poland and worldwide, particularly during the time of Polish Pope John Paul II.

But historians estimate that up to 15% of Polish clergy agreed to inform on their colleagues in the communist era.

The Polish Church has launched a series of investigations in recent years to identify collaborators.

Krakow Archbishop Stanislaw Dziwisz, who heads an investigation in his home diocese, said the communist era had been “a time of persecution of the Church, often bloody and brutal”.
