New update on airport security since my recent flight. Liquids are now not being checked whatsover and shoes not even asked to be removed. Very strange how the rules chop and change whenever it suits em!
A terrible thing happened though:
My friend has had eyes scanned without permission! People with new microchipped passports are slyly asked to come to another queue and then, without even being told what is happening their irises are photographed instantly.
This is an invasion of privacy, surely.

Passengers have their eyes scanned at an automated booth
Eye-scanning technology is being used at Heathrow Airport's busiest terminal to speed up immigration checks.
UK citizens and some foreign travellers can now use the system to skip passport checks at terminal one.
Passengers who volunteer can pre-register a photograph of their eye then have their eye scanned on arrival at an automated booth.
Project Iris has been operating at Heathrow terminals two and four since last June.
Immigration minister Tony McNulty said: "It is important that the UK remains at the forefront of the latest technology in immigration controls.
Automatic barriers
"Secure and effective border controls are vital to safeguard our citizens against terrorism, serious and organised crime and illegal immigration, while at the same time facilitating entry for legitimate travellers."
Apart from British citizens, Project Iris is open to frequent visitors to the UK and foreigners with leave to remain in Britain.
The £2.86m technology works by photographing a passenger's iris patterns and storing the data in a database together with their passport details.
These registered travellers can then proceed through automatic barriers in the immigration arrivals hall.
Project Iris is due to be installed at Gatwick North and South, Heathrow terminal three, Stansted, Birmingham and terminals one and two at Manchester by the end of this year. _________________ Choose rather to be strong of soul than strong of body.

in the movie 28 weeks later the repatriation project of brits involves taking iris scans at you guessed it the airport. nice little pyramid motif in the background as the eye scans are taking place.

There has been an increasingly obvious smear campaign against Alan Watt on this forum.
It started to become more apparent several months ago, when "Neo" created a website designed to fool the casual surfer into believing that it was an official Alan Watt site, by ripping off the name of Watt's European website. Neo then lied about having been physically threatened by Alan Watt, and then forum admin Andre repeated this lie, and then repeated it again, several times. These lies can be found in this thread, along with some interesting posts from "ColossusOfDestiny", who created a website selling mugs and T-shirts with Alan Watt's face on it, admitting that he didn't want to ask Watt for permission (essentially to steal from him) until ColossusOfDestiny had already finished setting it all up. He then changed his story several times yet he was defended by some forum members who seemed to argue that the whole thing was somehow Alan Watt's fault, and some regular posters even seemed to find this argument convincing.
Andre has also briefly discussed his association with the Art Bell clones behind Red Ice Creations, who have recently mounted their own smear campaign against Alan Watt, coincidentally, after having dumped Watt from their line-up and pretended that it was a mutual decision.
Several completely new posters have turned up and launched straight into what is obviously an organised smear campaign against Alan Watt, including one who called himself "Alan Watt Sucks Baby Cock". At the time of writing, the admin have chosen not to remove this disgusting lie from their forum.
There is currently a thread in which Watt has been accused of plagiarizing someone called Glen Kealey. The proof being offered is that they have both discussed certain topics, and this has been accepted as proof by the more obvious perpetrators of this smear campaign, and other "newbies". However, in this thread another completely new poster, amac56, who launched straight into smearing Alan Watt has served as a vehicle through which the regulars can all pretend to be above such obvious smear tactics, despite the abundance of evidence to the contrary.
The function of this forum has become clear, and hence the forum has become ridiculous and worthless.
I expect this post to be either a) ignored, b) deleted or c) "debunked" by imaginative use of the words "guru" and "worship", which have the magical property of automatically negating all facts.
DON'T know this Alan Watt guy NOR do i wish to know him OR any OTHER PROFESSED guru -- who have SHEOPLE doing their DIRTY work for them.

My daughter was given a little Jack Russel puppy for her birthday...
I have since been informed by the local vet all dogs born post 2004 absolutely must be micro chipped and registered.
I am not happy about this situation.
