The Duke of Gloucester installs the President of South Africa, Thabo Mbeki, as a Knight of the Order of St John earlier in 2007

South Africa's President Thabo Mbeki is made a Knight of the Order of St John at a colourful ceremony held at a cathedral in Cape Town on Thursday.

Early years

Born and raised in Idutywa (Transkei),what is now the Eastern Cape province of South Africa, Mbeki is the son of Epainette and Govan Mbeki. His father was a stalwart of the African National Congress (ANC) and the South African Communist Party. He is a native Xhosa speaker. His parents were both teachers and activists in a rural area of ANC strength, and Mbeki describes himself as "born into the struggle"; a portrait of Karl Marx sat on the family mantelpiece, and a portrait of Mohandas Gandhi was on the wall.

Exile and return

After the arrest and imprisonment of Sisulu, Mandela and his father, and facing a similar fate, Thabo Mbeki left South Africa as one of a number of young ANC militants (MK/Umkhonto we Sizwe cadres) sent abroad to continue their education and their anti-apartheid activities. He ultimately spent 28 years in exile, only returning to his homeland after the release of Nelson Mandela.

If so, he doesn't seem to exactly advertise it.

The United States is divided into 10 Provinces called the U.S Assistancy my friend. This Assistancy is controlled by the Regional Assistant and his President of the Jesuit Conference of the United States based in Washington D.C. These Provinces contain whatever states within their borders and are governed by the Provincials. So right now we have Regional Assistant Soldier, James E. Grummer controlling Thomas H Smolich controlling the U.S Assistancy. Smolich is the most powerful Jesuit soldier in the United States as James E. Grummer resides in Rome. Now study the roots of Washington D.C and understand why this is the true headquarters of the Society of Jesus. Note how Georgetown University, is the most powerful military fortress of the land. Washington D.C comes from land belonging to Roman Catholics, Daniel Carroll & Francis Pope. Land once known as Rome back in 1663 property records, all part of Maryland. The same Jesuit trained, Roman Catholic, Daniel Carroll linked to phony George Washington. The same Daniel Carroll who signed the Declaration of Independance! Craig - fascinating post. However, I believe you have some of your facts a little mixed up.

Daniel Carroll did not sign the Declaration of Independence! That was his cousin, Charles Carroll. (see a few pictures down)
Also, Daniel Carroll was a Freemason. He was initiated and raised in Maryland Lodge No. 16, Baltimore, Maryland on May 8th, 1781.

We have the proof of this from the authoritative book 10,000 Famous Freemasons (c. 1955). The book as been scaned online, the link to the section on Daniel Carroll is HERE

Daniel Carroll (b. 1730 - d. 1796):

From 10,000 Famous Freemasons - "His farm formed the site of the present city of Washington, D.C. He was a cousin of Charles Carroll, signer of the Declaration of Independence."

^ Note: in the painting that Carroll is giving the "V" hand sign, in the same way as Frederick V of Denmark is in this painting of him. (V for Vatican perhaps?)

It is true that Daniel Carroll's family was heavily Catholic and that his Catholic brother John Carroll and Catholic cousin Charles Carroll, had a significant influence on the early beginnings of the United States. All the more reason for Daniel's "V" hand sign?

Frederick V of Denmark (b. 1723 - d. 1766):

John Carroll (b. 1735 - d. 1815):

John Carroll was the first bishop and archbishop in the United States - serving as the ordinary of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Baltimore. He is also known as the founder of Georgetown University, the oldest Catholic university in the United States, and the Georgetown Preparatory School, the oldest Catholic day and boarding school in the United States. John Carroll University, a Jesuit university in University Heights, Ohio; is named in his honor.

Note: Don't forget that John Carroll was the younger brother of Daniel Carroll.

Charles Carroll (b. 1737 - d. 1832):

A chap by the name of Caroll is credited with incorporating a small town in western Canada near where i grew up.

Coincidentally he was a good freemason as well Wink
