He has uploaded a huge variety of non-fiction books, in a package, some as large as 2.8 GB. I've downloaded them all, and haven't even begun to look into them all. There is an amazing range of very useful reference works, many you have come across before, and some that are not relevant, but its like downloading the full range of books you need from Scribd.com in six files.
It will take some time to download them as they are quite large files, but it is worthwhile.
There is a collection of six of them, called "Massive Collection of Non-Fiction Books - Parts 1 - 6".
Just go to his profile and you will see them all there.
If you download, remember to seed them afterwards, let your bittorrent client upload for a while afterwards. |

Basically everybody that downloads it now has a copy that they can (optionally) share. The tracker knows the original contributor, and updates based on information from the seed to (hopefully) find the other folks who also have and are willing to share the file. Ideally, this speeds up downloads, because you don't have to follow the pipes back to the same one server in albania with the 1200 baud dialup connection. 
Realistically, bittorrents are often "throttled", where your ISP downshifts your bandwidth to some annoyingly slow level. Then you begin an arms race, you work around that with some plugin, they figure it out, you move to the next plugin, etc. Fun and mostly pointless, because if they'd just let it work correctly the bandwidth issue would work itself out nicely. The problem is, ISPs are greedy and want to charge large sites ridiculous amounts of money for bandwidth, and if everybody's leveling out those numbers by sharing data, the ISPs can't rake in the profits as easily. So they try and cripple the process.
More usefully, the file is also split into "chunks" allowing you to take advantage of multiple connections. If the file is only on systems with slow connections and you have a fast connection, you can pull chunks from different systems much faster than trying to pull the whole thing from one. Bittorrent clients use different algorithms for guessing which and how many systems to grab, which are faster, closer, more reliable, etc., to varying degrees of success.
A side effect of this is it's difficult to really know exactly what's going where. Not impossible, but a lot of work. So, for people that are into movies, music, or live in a nanny state (i.e., any "civilized" country), trading through bittorrent means making the nannies do a whole lot of work to track you down and prove that you're a problem. Of course, everyone on the internet has done something like this at some point, and millions still do every day, so most people are lost in the mix. On the other hand, if you load your entire neighborhood's cd collection onto your computer and leave it running for the next 10 years, they're probably going to target you...and probably find you. In between those folks, they like to go after grannies and toddlers to show people they aren't scared of making examples of "criminals".
So, a seed is just a roadmap to a server with a file, that then shares it's list of downloaders with you to help you find a few that are closer, and hopefully faster for you to download from. Sometimes it even works pretty good, for example, if you're on a cable modem and you have a few seeders in your neighborhood, and not too many of your neighbors are eating bandwidth, you can download items at a higher bandwidth than you're technically paying for.

Yeah these guys are "banned" because when Conspiracy Central was on their old site and tracker people kept ignoring the banned torrents list and uploading copyrighted material that certain owners really went to town with.
Apparently Michael Tsarion was the one kicking up the most fuss (Well it was copyrighted material), I think he instituted one or two lawsuits if I remember correctly until Conspiracy Central removed all of his Origins & Oracles material from there.
And there were others who threatened lawsuits as well I think.
Its the reason they moved to a new tracker and made an announcement of a banned torrents list fairly prominent on their new site.
It'll probably all kick off again though as people will always try their luck and upload banned material. |

You can seed on an existing torrent by just leaving your torrent app on and having the entire download on your machine for people to get.
I haven't made my own torrent yet but I don't think it is much harder than making a file and posting it to the share network and then downloading it to you torrent app.

The immigrant situation in Sweden is terrible. It's a matter of Swedish self-defence/fight for survival now. Their country is being taken over by foreigners. Mind you, (just like in the USA/rest of Europe) most of the immigrant related violence is violence done on Swedes(/locals) by the immigrants. But of course the media won't report that. I've been there. Immigrants everywhere. Not integrating at all, but looking down on the locals. Swedes are almost 2nd rate citizens. Terrible situation.
