It’s 9/11 Again

Let us reflect.

Eighteen years ago today, George Bush, Sr. gave a speech announcing something called the “New World Order”. No one knew what he was talking about, and the news media certainly wasn’t addressing it. Exactly a year later, he announced it again. Still no direct explanation, but he let us know it was a “big idea” and had something to do with the United Nations and people working together for a common cause. Ten years after that, the ruling elite of planet earth carried out a massive psychological operation against the people of every nation, officially kicking off this “New World Order” we’d been hearing about.

No facts were given when the planes hit. The whole thing was bizarre. They kept showing the collapse over and over again, putting the entire country in a state of psychological trauma. Then they gave us an outlet. It was done by a guy in a cave over there somewhere who was different from us. Not only did he have a different color skin and a beard, but he spoke a different language and had a different religion. He hated us for being different. And he was jealous of our freedom.

Looking back the whole thing seems so infantile and ridiculous. One thinks “Jealous of our freedom? Did they really say that? Did I really believe it?” At the time though people were in such a state of “shock and awe” that they were operating on basic instinct, and it was very easy to play on primitive impulses by providing an archetype of a tribal enemy who was “different than us”.

This threw the nation into a very base war mode. All logic was thrown to the wind. People rallied around the tribal chief. Though these were natural instincts being manipulated, the resulting effect can be accurately described as “mass psychosis”.

I was first introduced to this “truth” business around the first anniversary of the attacks. Six years ago. At that time it was heresy to claim anyone other than a caveman was responsible for the September 11th attacks. I was actually, literally punched in the face on multiple occasions, and kicked out of houses, bars, restaurants, retail stores and school buildings. Things have slowly gained momentum. At this point, it is rare that you will find someone will even disagree strongly, and no one is going to become enraged to the point of violence at the suggestion that maybe we weren’t told the whole truth about the events of September 11th, 2001. The effect of the trauma has all but worn off completely for most people. Thus it is necessary to keep upping the ante, providing more things for people to fear. The continuing war, threats of more war, the looming economic collapse and all that it entails and an endless list of up and coming sources of terror are presently fitting the bill, though to a much lesser degree.

In talking with people at least half of them are either aware of, or open to the possibility that our own government was involved in 9/11. This is something monumental in itself, but even more intense is the fact that even with this knowledge saturating the general public, nothing has been done, and we are effectively no closer to bringing the actual terrorists to justice than we were seven years ago. So many of people who know are apathetic, the whole thing seeming “too big” to deal with, and so they will often sink back into the fantasy land of the television. The question now facing those of us who are active in this movement is why, if so many people are open to the truth, has nothing been done about it?

I believe that the reason for this apathy, even in the face of eminent destruction, is that people have not yet been offered a valid solution to the problems we face. We know that calling congressmen is a total waste of time. Rallies are an effective way to create awareness, if they aren’t infiltrated by people trying to make us look insane, but they certainly are not a solution in and of themselves. Handing out DVDs explaining the events of 9/11 has served us very well as we went through the process of creating a basic understanding among the general public, and this is something I am proud to have taken part in. Although I encourage everyone to continue to mass produce and distribute this material and rally whenever possible, I propose that the time has come to move into the next stage of the process. We must work together to come up with a solution to the problems we face, as “informing the people” has not proved to be a solution in and of itself, nor do I think it was ever intended to be.

Politics will get us nowhere, as the system has been engineered to work against us. Violence is not an option, as an unorganized mob cannot ever win a war against trained militaries and futuristic weaponry. We must consider a new option. I think the beginning of this is to look beyond 9/11, beyond George Bush, beyond even the banking cartel; we must reach an understanding about the fundamental nature of the system we were born into and ask ourselves what kind of world we would make, if we had the option. The old America is dead and gone and I don’t believe it can be revived. But we, the human race, are still here. Our only logical option is to move forward. Everything hangs in the balance.

As clichéd as it may seem, we must ask ourselves what we believe it means to be human, and what our purpose is here. If there is a purpose to human existence, than fulfilling it must be our prime objective, and we must consider what type of system would best support us in this endeavor. If we are capable of answering this and communicating it to the people, apathy will no longer be an issue, and a path will present itself.

  1. It is too bad for you that you missed the expose done by Popular Mechanics in partnership with the Discovery Channel into all the claims of the conspiracy theories surrounding 911.

Take comfort knowing that they are little more than amateurish conspiracy theories and nothing more. Please let the professionals do the thinking.

  2. How incredibly ill-informed. It’s yellow journalism, son. Stay right in that warm, protective cocoon you built around your mind.

  3. The River,

    Your comment is virtually unbelievable.

“Please let the professionals do the thinking.”

I cannot fathom the notion that people actually think like this. It is terrifying.

  5. That’s ok though, all you can do is present the factual information. Maybe it’ll break through his conditioning somewhere down the line.

  6. uh, i’m new here but
i’m 90% sure mr. river was being sarcastic.
