The Gaza Genocide and the Death of the American Conscience

Rather that reiterate what so many others have already written about the Genocide in Gaza, I would like to look at the bizarre support of this slaughter, coming mainly from the United States, without which none of this could be happening. I believe that this latest slaughter signals the final death throes of America. This failed nation no longer has an excuse to exist.
For the purpose of this article, I will look at the way the American public is responding to the information as it is presented by the media, and the moral judgment calls they are making based on this information, rather than condemning them for being altogether too stupid to figure out what is actually happening.
The American public has supported the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and they are now supporting the slaughter in Palestine.
Though comparable, the genocide presently taking place in Gaza is different than that in Iraq and Afghanistan, at least in it’s presentation. Iraq and Afghanistan are presented as wars. Though a million plus Muslims have died, compared to a few thousand Americans, there is at least the impression that these people have the capability to defend themselves. In Gaza, on the other hand, the situation cannot be construed as anything other than what it is: the wholesale mass murder of a civilian population. There is also the fact that no one is even claiming that Gaza has anything to do with the United States, as they do with Iraq and Afghanistan.
Following this, I would argue that in supporting the genocide in Gaza, Americans have crossed into a completely new realm of evil. There is no going back. It is our tax dollars that have paid for the Israeli Genocide Machine, and our consent which has allowed it to press forward, and thus the blood is on our hands.
The main reason given, by the people I have talked to, for supporting this mass slaughter, is that 9 people have been killed by Hamas rockets in the last 4 years and that Israel “had to do something about that”. Though the facts about the concentration camp conditions in Gaza are being reported by the Mainstream Media, this is tossed aside. These people are driven now not by reason, but by an unholy bloodlust, that I myself see all around me, but am yet to fully comprehend.
Much of this support comes from the “Christian Right”, who believe that if they can kill enough Muslims to start a Third World War, Jesus will come down and “rapture” them up to Heaven, where they will live forever in perfect health. Slaughter in the name of God is the highest of evils, and these people all have a special place waiting for them in the Ninth Circle. Many atheists side with Israel, as they see her as a force of Natural Selection, wiping the earth clean of a lesser evolved species. The others supporting the genocide don’t seem to have any reason at all, other than that they hate Muslims, and think the world would be better off without them. This idea that Muslims are a problem needing solved has been drilled into their heads by mass media and mass entertainment for so many years that it has become an unquestioned part of their manufactured reality. They are too weak minded to question even the most basic aspects of their indoctrination that effect their everyday lives, so we can’t expect them to be able to question the stated logic behind events taking place halfway around the world.
A once proud people have become a nation of monsters, crying out for the blood of children. The American conscience is dead. We have buried it like a cheap hooker in a shallow grave in a desert somewhere. Our fate is sealed.
This is why America deserves the hell that awaits it. She is beyond redemption. She has become the most powerful force for evil that the world has ever seen.
So yes, the economy is going to collapse. Martial law will be declared. Plagues will be released. Foreign troops will be brought in to usher us onto trains bound for containment camps. People will eat their own children. And it will be sad. I will cry. But it will be justice, long awaited. A people cannot condemn innocents to death forever without it coming back on them. God and the Universe demand a balance. Blood for blood.
Realize this when it all comes down. Realize that it is simple cause and effect. And know that if you have remained vigilant, and stood against this beast, than fate will be much kinder to you than to those who have bathed in the blood of innocents.

Well I must say it is somewhat refreshing to meet “real” people from the US on this forum and not just this patriotism-blah-blah bull that me (as an outsider [European]) and probably a few others are getting pretty sick of hearing by now. Indeed you did steal this land from the natives. But then that is pretty much the story of the white man all around the world, being him connected with Judaism of any form or not (Or a Jesuit ;-)). But then in addition you were the chosen ones to be the police of the world.
I also must say that there are probably other people besides myself that will have to look, if only for a short moment, to find their pity if/when USA would start to fall into pieces. Your leaders have made it easy for us to hate you, and many Europeans shake their head and when asked to picture a typical American would come up with an overweight, ignorant character who drives an SUV when going across the block and who can’t find Spain on a map (“Is that in Kansas?”). But personally, along with most I would think, I could never find pleasure in any human (or non-human) suffering. We are all brothers and sisters and we live here on this planet together. Anyone who’s been around this planet just a bit will find that we share all the basic values and that you will connect in an instant.
People are good. They deserve better. Few are really bad and evil. Too bad they are in control. But where is God I wonder…? Is there a justice to this universe?? Surely all empires have fallen but I think that is mainly due to the system they have put up and the variables they haven’t taken into account as the years roll along. This time… Well, who knows. But sure; Earth to God – over! We kinda need your help over here. . . . - - - . . .
Hope is the last thing we’ll let go of though.
I’ve been saying it (less eloquently so) for many years now. The morass of commercial snobbery facilitated by slave labor abroad, the genocides, domestic and abroad, everything. This nation was founded in a blood bath and will eventually dissolve into history by the same means. I hope for the best from those who are of like mind, but I have little empathy for the vast majority of my peers in this country. You have to possess empathy to incite the same from others.

I knew that. Too long…? Give me my own column then!
“Much of this support comes from the “Christian Right”, who believe that if they can kill enough Muslims to start a Third World War, Jesus will come down and “rapture” them up to Heaven, where they will live forever in perfect health.”
I’m a Christian, and I’ve never heard anything expressed quite like that, much less have ever thought that. Did you imagine this or did a Christian actually say that?
This statement is about as misconstrued as is the rest of this article. In fact, it’s pretty much backwards from the reality, just like much of your article, I’m afraid. I read some ranting and raving, anti-semitism couched in concern for Gaza civilians, or is it really the terrorists? I wonder if you’ll be writing any articles about the hundreds of thousands (millions if you count the Congo) of civilians being murdered in various dictatorial countries around the world? Surely their victims also deserve your support. Do you make a distinction between Hamas and Gaza civilians? Do you consider Hamas’ actions against other Gazans? Fatah, for example? I’m inclined to dismiss your writing as utter nonsense, as little fact as it considers. I’m trying to remember why I’ve bookmarked your site…I’ll stick around and see what comes of it, though.
Cheers
Yeah… bloodbaths rock
yes, Andre, I want to thank you for putting my very sentiments down. I’d Googled in Gaza genocide+where are the Christians? and came up with your site. The Christian right are well-financed, and filled with lost and brain dead people who are being manipulated by a small core of nihilists. Much like Israel and the U.S. I’d just wondered how the world could just sit by and watch this slaughter going on. And yet, I know why. You have a massive disinformation campaign and people, as we know, will sell their souls for a few shekels. I read an article about how Israel was recruiting and paying people, (like the idiot that calls himself Dave above)to pollute the blogosphere with their zionist crap..ironically, they bring up antisemitism, obscuring the reality that the only Semites left are the Palestinians. I couldn’t help but think, looking at a video of the massacres, as I watched a Gazan on his burro, there’s no doubt on which side of the wall Jesus would have ended up.
Yes, that’s right: there will be a judgment over Israel and the U.S.A. When we read our Bible more carefully (something what Christian Right and most evangelicals as usuall not do), we will find that the true God of the Bible is not a Friend of Israel at all.
Read for example the book of Ezekhiel, chapter 16 and read also the book of Revelation, chapter 17. We will see that the socalled “Whore of Babylon” (the system of the Beast in the end times what for a certain time will rule the world with force, violence and oppression), is nothing more or less than Israel! This “woman on a scarlet red beast” wich holds a “cup of abominations” in her hand, is the one who dictates what America most do. America has to do her biding. And that’s exactly the way it works. Many deluded Christians believe, they will earn Gods blessings when they “bless” Israel. In reallity however, this is a big lie. So, could it be, that the United States of America is, in fact, this “red beast?”
In stead of exposing the truth about the little thiny nation in the Middle East and the crimes of for instant, George W. Bush, they heve themselves commited to a government of mass murderers.
In th Bible, we read about a godly man who served God with awe. He had however one “weak point:’ he found it nessecary to choose the side of Israel. His name was Jehosaphat, king of Judah. And we find his story in the First Book of Kings, chapter 22. On a certain time, he brought a visit to the wicked king of Israel, named Ahab. Ahab had already decided, to go to war against Assyria. So, Jehosaphat came in on the right moment. When Ahab asked Jehosaphat to go with him, to battle Assyria, he answered him:
“I am as thou art, my people as thy people, my horses as thy horses.”
What Jehosaphat actually said, was th following:
“Well, ther is no difference between you and me. We ar equall. We both have a common goal in mind.”
Today, we will find many of those “Jehosaphats” in many churches, not only in the U.S.A. but also in The Netherlands, and many other countrys of the world. They seem not to know that Ehud Olmert is, in fact, an “Ahab.” Jehosaphat has at least a little bit common sense, so he asks for the word of the Lord first; he want counsel the Lord first before he will act. Than, Ahab calling on his advisers, the false prophets, and they have together just óne mesage “from the Lord:’ And the mesage sounds very positive:
“Go up; for the Lord shall deliver it unto the hand of the king.”
Also today, we have many “prophets” among us who tells us that we must support Israel in her struggle against “terrorism” (the innocent Palestinians in Gaza.) In the past, we had the late Jerry Fallwell, prophecying that we had to support Israel unconditionally. Nowadays, we have John Hagee for whom Israel is a “holy idol.” They (and many others) and their followers are insensitive to the horrible sufferings of the Palestinians.
There was one man however, who was hated by the king and his court; Micah, the son of Jimla, was not a popular man; in contradiction with the 400 “prophets”, he had another mesage to announce. His prophecy was that when Ahab would battle the Assyrians, he himself, would die. His words were ignored however, and Ahab prepared together with Jehosaphat for war with Assyria. But Micah’s prediction came true; during battle, Ahab became heavy wounded and he died. Jehosaphat was spared and returned back to Jerusalem. When he arrived, Jehu, the son of Hanini, the seer came to him with the following mesage:
“Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the Lord? Therefore is wrath upon thee before the Lord.” (2 Chronicles 19:1-2)
The apostle Paul has another variant on this:
“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath rightiousness with unrightiousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? And what accord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath het that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the Living God: as God has said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” (2 Corintians 6:14-16)
So, as Christians, we have noting to do with a nation wich hate and despises the Lord Jesus Christ, and wich oppress innocent Palestinian civillians. And if you don’t have the true love of Jesus Chist in your heart, you will certainly not have the love for your neighbours. In stead of a blessing wich we supposedly expect, when we unconditoinally support Israel, the reall truth is that we can expect the fierce wrath of God on our lives!
So, don’t support Israel any longer!
Christians get to drink their blood symbolically (the sacrament). They can be real bastards, but the blood-licking in Gaza was sickening to behold,
Hey Ton Nuitton….You are VERY eloquent!! You hit the nail RIGHT on the head! NO Bible-believing christian should support israel!!
Yeah…..Dave has defintely been brain-washed by Zionists…LOl.
Hey, i am glad i came across your site… keep it up!!!!
Really I don’t believe that justice is the kind of justice Andre believes in. Nature is amoral and nature will survive with its own kind of justice which is the original form and only real form of justice. The ant hill of human civilization is entirely artificial and a creation by man and not by nature. I agree that civilization will be destroyed but I dont think that some kind of human justice will prevail. Go into nature and see for yourself. That is the kind of justice that will prevail. The force of creation can be very cruel from a human perspective but from its own perspective it just is and it continues without human civilization whether we like it or not.
Gutes Thema. Bin aber nicht ganz deiner Meinung, aber das ist ja auch kein Diskussionsforum hier. Bleib am Ball.
